Unlike following on the footsteps of a number of other companies and producing iPod compatible accessories, Creative is working to launch more accessories for its own MP3 players.”

[Proposal for the 802.11n standard confirmed by IEEE Task Group “N” enabling higher speeds and greater range in next-generation WLAN products.]
Hawaii — The IEEE Task Group “N” voted to confirm the proposal for the 802.11n Wi-Fi standard. Submitted by the Joint Proposal team, this specification was developed by the Enhanced Wireless Consortium (EWC) and included several elements developed within the Joint Proposal team. By passing the confirmation vote, this proposal became the first official draft of the 802.11n standard. The draft will now proceed through the IEEE ratification process, which includes letter balloting, comment resolution, sponsor balloting and final ratification. Full approval of similar specifications have typically taken about a year but the progress is unique to each standard and its associated participants.
The proposed IEEE 802.11n Wi-Fi standard will enable high-performance, next-generation wireless local area networking (WLAN) products. The draft supports speeds of up to 600 Mbps - a significant leap over today’s Wi-Fi networks - and will enable wireless systems to deliver greater range. This will allow wireless products across multiple market segments to support advanced multimedia applications.

Well it only bloody worked!! My free Xbox came today and it was brand new, sealed in its box and works perfectly! Many were sceptical about this kind of thing but i had a good feeling so i went for it and it paid off! I must be honest tho, it wasn’t totally free, i did have to deposit ВЈ10 and play one game of bingo to complete my offer but that only cost me ВЈ1 and i withdrew the other ВЈ9 after the offer had completed. So in actuality it has cost me ВЈ1 for a brand new Xbox!
If you want my advice, sign up for the Blue Square Poker offer as you’ll get 2 referals when you complete it by depositing ВЈ10 and playing with it. Yes i know it’s ВЈ10 but whichever of the products you decide to get it’ll be worth it. Oh and be quick about it as that offer ends today
The company behind the virtual private server (VPS) software Virtuozzo announced yesterday it would release a “bare-bones” open source version called OpenVZ, which it expects to help drive development of the proprietary one.
A while ago I moved the debianHELP site to another server and was faced with the prospect of building the box from scratch. To me, handling Apache or MySQL is no problem, but I loath setting up virtual email domains. Being of the lazy sort, I decided to examine free software hosting control panels and to install one on the box I was going to build.
